He's either a versatile defender or one lacking a clean positional fit depending on a team's assessment and scheme. He's played in a variety of spots over the past two years, but hip tightness and lack of length do show themselves when matched in man coverage. He's a freelancer who lacks the range to play single-high, but his instincts and recognition talent improve his ability to challenge effectively as a split safety. He's a well-built banger with solo tackle talent near the line and should be a quality short zone defender. Brooks offers middle-round value as a split-safety capable of box duties and should offer an upgrade on special teams coverage.

McFarland runs hard, but he's not that big and he's not that creative, so he could struggle to find yardage for himself. A high-ankle sprain may have been at the root of his unimpressive 2019 tape, as he showed a little better burst and tackle-breaking ability in 2018, but in both seasons he needed either clear points of entry or to be operating in open space to get it going. His projection can't just rely on a couple of splash performances from 2018. He appears to have low-end backup potential, but it's worth noting that some NFL teams are much higher on him.

The overall sample size has been very limited with just 155 total touches over three seasons, but look carefully and you'll find big play ability in all three campaigns. He looks thinner than listed and isn't overly willful as an interior runner, but he can be a lethal outside runner. Leake is a sudden back and his ability to cut and reach top-end speed quickly should allow him to keep ringing up chunk plays as a pro. His kick-return talent carries less weight with fewer returns happening on the pro level and he needs to prove he can offer real third-down value. He's a bonafide playmaker with low mileage on the odometer and might be coveted by teams looking for an injection of life into their running game.

Long but lean Will linebacker prospect who enjoyed a season full of production as a graduate transfer from Ohio state. Jones has the burst and bend to disrupt the run from backside pursuit and attack the pocket as an edge rusher/blitzer. His impressive 2019 production came as a 3-4 edge, which he has little chance of playing as a pro unless he gets much bigger and much stronger. He's a quality athlete, but lacks plus aggression and toughness against the run and he hasn't proven he can be counted on in coverage. The special-teams experience is a positive but he may not have enough checks in his favor to make it as an off-ball linebacker.
