PLAYER ANALYSIS
Despite a lack of desired size, Johnson might have the ability to play inside or outside thanks to his speed and ability to elude press from his release. He has basketball athleticism, but his routes will need more focus and less freestyle once he steps up in competition. The athleticism and quickness should allow for a wide range of usage on offense but his hands might always be a concern for him. He's a little small and wasn't as fast or quick at the combine as expected, so Day 3 in the draft is his likely landing spot as a WR3/WR4 talent.

PLAYER ANALYSIS
Natural-born pass catcher with soft hands, quality routes and advanced feel for body positioning and control. Thompson is praised by teammates and coaches for his level of preparation that has resulted in solid college production. He has good size, but his lack of functional speed may push him inside, where he'll need to prove he can uncover in tight spaces. He's not fast, but he's athletic and his special teams value should give him an above-average chance of making a roster as a late Day 3 (Rounds 4-7) selection.

PLAYER ANALYSIS
Johnson is an outside receiver with slot experience who has the deep speed to create some vertical separation and put it in the paint against speed-challenged cornerbacks. He's below average as a gather-and-cut route runner and will need to run routes that keep him moving and allow him to unlock his speed. His hands run hot and cold but are generally a plus. His game may be a little limited on the pro level, but he has the speed and enough talent to warrant a Day 3 look.
