The tape is always watching and Smith's 2018 offering was a far cry from what he posted in 2016 and 2017 with Lamar Jackson leading the way. As a talent, he's draft-worthy, but inconsistent competitiveness and overall effort will likely earn him an earful from NFL teams when he meets with them during the draft process. Despite his disappointing season, his combination of size, speed and downfield potential could earn him a Day 3 look in the draft and a chance to become an NFL backup.
