PLAYER ANALYSIS
Fitzgerald's size and arm talent is sure to land him on the back board of teams who covet those traits for developmental quarterbacks, but his issues with accuracy, decision-making and field vision make him more project than prospect. His running ability could help him find work for a team looking to employ a running quarterback in short-yardage packages, but he lacks the core components of a competent NFL passer, and it's hard to see him ever becoming a QB2 in the league.
