Jones weighed in at under 220 pounds in the spring so maintaining a functional level of size is a concern right off the bat, but that's just the beginning. His play is lacking in both discipline and instincts and much of his production is tied to his plus athleticism and closing speed. He is tough, but tough is not substitute for technique -- especially for an undersized linebacker. Becoming a special teams ace may be his only shot at a roster spot.
