PLAYER ANALYSIS
Phillips is a possession receiver with a variety of release moves to combat press coverage and get into his routes. His hands are good underneath, but he lacks the physicality and ball skills necessary to win down the field against bigger, longer NFL cornerbacks. Phillips may not offer much help on special teams so he'll have to prove that he can carve out a clearly defined role as a receiver in order to land a roster spot.
