Kelsey has decent size, but he is lacking in the necessary functional speed and athleticism teams look for in draftable linebackers. He is a two-down linebacker who lacks the man-cover talent to play on third downs in the league and his best hope may be to land on a practice squad. Becoming a special teams ace might have to be Kelsey's door into the league.
