Jean is a very raw receiver, but he has great size and speed to develop into a vertical threat at the next level. He has excellent explosion to eat up cushions and can get over the top of coverage quickly. He also tracks the deep ball very well and has the hands and leaping ability to secure the catch. He is an extremely raw route runner that seems to idle down in transition and rarely finds soft spots in zone coverage. Jean's effort is also inconsistent, but he is a big play threat and could be worth a late round pick.

Butler possesses the coveted height and enough athleticism to make it in the league as a backup. Probably doesn't have the instincts in zone or pure man coverage ability to become a fulltime starter. Does a good job seeing plays develop in front of him, reacting to the football and coming up with intensity but needs to become a more consistent tackler. Can make some plays on the football with his height and adequate hands but isn't a big time leaper and won't haul-in many interceptions. Probably more of a late-round prospect but has a chance to get into the mid rounds.
