Ziggy Ansah gets free movies for a year from IMAX

Ziggy Ansah earned several points in our book when -- on a dare from friends -- he wore lensless 3D glasses at Radio City Music Hall for the first night of the 2013 NFL Draft.

The fearless fashion choice (he acquired the glasses during a screening of "Thor" in 2011) did more than show the Detroit Lions rookie had a sense of humor. It also caught the attention of the people at IMAX, who sent Ansah a letter last week.

Harrison: Post-draft Power Rankings

After the 2013 NFL Draft, Elliot Harrison updates his Power Rankings, with plenty of teams moving up and down the board. **More ...**

"We, at IMAX, couldn't help but notice your keen sense of style at the NFL draft this year," the letter read, according to the Detroit Free Press. "You made quite a fashion statement with your pair of 3D glasses. As a member of the Detroit Lions, you share our love for the color blue, and we would like to add an IMAX silver lining for you -- we would love to celebrate your first year in the NFL with the opportunity to see all IMAX 3D movies on us for the next year."

As the fifth overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, Ansah is likely to receive a contract similar to the four-year, $18.5 million deal that last year's fifth pick, Justin Blackmon, landed from the Jacksonville Jaguars.
