Uche Nwaneri, Dallas Cowboys reach agreement

The Dallas Cowboys have added a veteran guard with 92 starts under his belt over the past seven seasons.

The Cowboys announced Tuesday that they have agreed to terms with former Jaguars guard Uche Nwaneri.

Nwaneri, 30, was released by Jacksonville in early March.

A native of the Dallas area, Nwaneri is insurance for either Zack Martin at right guard or the tandem of Ronald Leary and Mackenzy Bernadeau at left guard.

The Cowboys have done an admirable job of assembling one of the NFL's deepest offensive lines, turning a 2012 weak spot into a 2014 strength.

In the latest episode of the "Around The League Podcast," the guys discuss Rob Gronkowski's expected return to action and Cordarrelle Patterson's potential rise this season.
