Tim Tebow, Matt Slauson of New York Jets talk it out

Tim Tebow and Matt Slauson are all good.

The latest incident in the never-ending Tebow saga took off earlier Wednesday when an anonymous player called the quarterback "terrible" in a New York Daily News story. Of course, the New York Jets spent the day trying to put out the fire. Coach Rex Ryan, Mark Sanchez, Tebow and several other players spent their entire media sessions being asked about the situation.

Darlington: Tebow the Terrible

The Jets are stunned Tim Tebow isn't a good practice player? Should have done their homework, Jeff Darlington says. **More ...**

The Daily News story included a quote from left guard Slauson, who said "it's not even close" in terms of who's the better quarterback -- Tebow or Sanchez.

Tebow said he and Slauson talked in the trainer's room Wednesday, and everything is cool between them.

"It was great," Tebow said, via The Associated Press. "He's an awesome guy, and we have a great relationship. He's someone you love having on your football team."

Alrighty then. We all can sleep better now that Tebow and Slauson are BFFs.

Tebowmania -- where even the mundane is a story.
