Think you know the best meltdowns of all time? You don't

Many of you probably had trouble getting motivated this week, coming off the Memorial Day weekend. Demands are high, tempers are running high. You can't blame people for being on edge while trying to jam some work together.

In honor of those short tempers, why not take a break this weekend and look at some of the greatest meltdowns in NFL history? If these don't put a smile on your face, well, there is nothing I can do to help you.

And without further ado ...

6. That's my quarterback!

No player has done more to burn his quarterbacks than Terrell Owens. Just look at the long list of careers he has ruined: Jeff Garcia, Donovan McNabb, Tony Romo (sort of) and now Carson Palmer would rather retire than play for the Bengals again. T.O. is the Ted McGinley of the NFL. But here, he is brought to tears when trying to defend his quarterback. Because, well, it's his quarterback.

5. Wait, why are you playing?

Remember when you were playing youth sports and your coaches told you it doesn't matter if you win or lose, it's how you play the game? Well, apparently they were all liars. No, seriously. According to former coach Herm Edwards, you play to win the game. Which to me is a bit misleading because during the lockout all we've heard is both sides talking about this being a business. Great, now I'm starting to get worked up.

4. This is serious

Here is my public relations tip for the day: If you are ever losing huge in a game -- in prime time no less -- and you are caught laughing on camera, here is what you do. Say it was gallows humor. Say that you were only laughing to keep from crying. But under no circumstances do you ever do what Derek Anderson did right here. Never. Not unless you want to wind up on lists like this.

3. Ask the trainer

There is a little bonus clip in this meltdown. Coach Mike Ditka delivers a personal message to me, from most of the commenters on this space. But after that, we see Iron Mike at his best, being defiant and short with the media. You know, with this antagonistic relationship there is no way that Ditka could have gone to the media after he retired. I wonder what he is doing now.

2. You let them off the what?

What is it in the desert air that sets tempers off? I thought Arizona was supposed to be a dry heat. But this might be one of the most famed blowups of all-time in any sport. Keep an ear out for my favorite part. Right after the reporter thanks Green for his time, the PR rep in the background can be heard bringing Matt Leinart up to the podium. Poor Matt, you don't want to follow the headliner in that situation.

1. You think you know

Trying to figure out which Mora rant I like the most is what I would believe is like trying to choose between your two children. You just can't do it. So since I'm the host, I am going to give you a bonus shot of two of Mora's classic rants.
