Lang's agent, Mike McCartney, announced Monday that the left guard has agreed to a four-year contract extension with the Packers. Terms of the deal were not immediately known.
Lang later confirmed the news.
With the move, the Packers have locked up both of their starting guards for the foreseeable future. Right guard Josh Sitton landed a five-year extension last summer.
Lang and Sitton will play on either side of Jeff Saturday, the longtime Indianapolis Colts center who signed a two-year deal with the Packers in March. Left tackle Marshall Newhouse and right tackle Bryan Bulaga round out one of the strongest offensive lines in football.
UPDATE:The Green Bay Press-Gazette reported Tuesday, citing a source familiar with the contract, the deal will pay Lang $20.8 million over the next five years and contains a $5.5 million signing bonus.
