The Tennessee Titansagreed to terms with former Denver Broncos defensive end Shaun Phillips on a two-year deal worth up to $6 million, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported, per a source involved in the deal. The team later announced that he signed the deal, and the contract includes $2.5 million in guarantees, per the Tennessean.
Phillips, turning 33 in May, was the fallback option as the best available pass rusher. He's totaled 19.5 sacks over the last two seasons, shifting from outside linebacker in San Diego to defensive end in Denver.
