Rosenhaus: One team 'very interested' in free-agent WR Owens

If you believe Terrell Owens' agent, the veteran wide receiver still has a chance to suit up for an NFL team this season.

Drew Rosenhaus told ESPN.com on Sunday that one team is "very interested" in his client. Rosenhaus didn't name the team, saying it's sensitive about being publicly tied to Owens.

For Owens' sake, the interest needs to quickly manifest itself. The NFL's regular season neared its three-quarter point Sunday.

Owens is one of the most prolific receivers in league history, and he's coming off a season in which he caught nine touchdown passes for the Cincinnati Bengals. But Owens will be 38 next month, possesses a polarizing personality and is coming off reconstructive knee surgery in April.

Last month, Owens held a public workout that was covered by NFL Network and ESPN but not attended by any teams. That makes Rosenhaus' contention surprising and also somewhat dubious. We'll believe Owens is back when we see it.
