The Legion of Boom is the most physically imposing secondary in the NFL, leading some to believe their play borders on illegal.
"These are the toughest guys you are going to face," Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White said of the Seattle Seahawks' secondary on NFL Network's "NFL AM." "The way that they scheme, the guys that they have out there playing man-to-man coverage. They are all tall, they are all long, they are all lanky guys. They have perfected holding."
It's not a shock to hear a wide receiver define physical play by a cornerback as holding.

White isn't the first person to claim the physical play of the secondary isn't exactly legal. Former New York Giants offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride told The Wall Street Journal this week that pass interference happens on nearly every play when facing the Seahawks.
"If you think they're going to be called and expect that to be the solution to the problem, you're going to be sadly mistaken," Gilbride said. "They've perfected the art."
