Report: Broncos could deal Tebow if Manning signs on

Could Peyton Manning spell doom for Tebowmania in Denver?

It's possible. Citing a source "with knowledge of the dynamics" of the team, ProFootballTalk.com reported Sunday that Tebow will likely be moved if the Broncos manage to sign Manning.

The Broncos would trade -- not release -- Tebow if Denver lands Manning, according to the report. If Manning signs elsewhere, the Broncos are inclined to keep Tebow and shore up the position through the draft and free agency.

NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora reported that Manning is unlikely to visit with more than three teams and will not sign with a team without a formal meeting. He already met with the Broncos, and arrived at the Cardinals' team facility with Arizona coach Ken Whisenhunt on Sunday. He could meet with the Dolphins after returning to Miami, where he has a home.

But the possibility of Manning ending up with the Broncos is very real. A source who had spoken to Manning prior to his visit with the Cardinals told ESPN that "his gut is that Manning is leaning toward Denver."

As for Tebow, PFT reports the Jaguars are interested in his services if he were to become available. Jacksonville owner Shad Khan is a Tebow fan, and is already on record saying he would've pursued drafting the Florida Gator legend if he was running the Jags at the time.

Acquiring Tebow -- who is taking a "philosophical" approach to Denver's Manning courtship -- would be a smart roll of the dice for the Jaguars. Tebow would give the franchise a desperately needed publicity boost, while also allowing the team to slow the development of Blaine Gabbert, the No. 10 overall pick in last year's draft who struggled mightily in his rookie season.

Of course, everything revolves around Manning's decision. But you already knew that, didn't you?
