Rams bench WR Sims-Walker, could be in Lloyd sweepstakes

Mike Sims-Walker hasn't provided the aerial threat the St. Louis Rams hoped for when they signed him, so he has been benched for Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers.

Sims-Walker, who has 11 receptions for 139 yards and no touchdowns in four games this season, was inactive for non-injury reasons. Guard Jacob Bell (hamstring) and defensive end James Hall (back) were active for the Rams (0-4).

In another sign the Rams are dissatisfied with their current receiving corps, NFL Network's Michael Lombardi suggested the team should look into acquiringDenver Broncos star Brandon Lloyd before Tuesday's trade deadline.

"I look for the St. Louis Rams, I look for the Tennessee Titans to make a strong play for him," Lombardi said Sunday on "NFL GameDay Morning" on NFL Network. "I really believe he'll be traded by the deadline on Tuesday."

Packers offensive tackle Bryan Bulaga (knee), safety Morgan Burnett (hand), wideout Greg Jennings (groin), linebacker Clay Matthews (quadriceps), guard Josh Sitton (ankle) and cornerback Charles Woodson (foot, knee) all are active as exepcted.
