Pro Bowl to use new Nike uniforms for NFC, AFC teams

The NFL is trying, with gusto, to convince you that the Pro Bowl is fun again.

Nike's handiwork dropped Tuesday and will replace the longstanding red, white and blue uniforms with bright orange and volt yellow.

The new threads -- with clear ties to the Oregon look -- also will include Pro Bowl achievement stars on the nameplates, similar to what Adidas applied to the warm-up jackets worn by NBA All-Stars. NFL players will debut the unis at the 2014 NFL Pro Bowl on Jan. 26, in Aloha Stadium in Honolulu.

I'm currently tracking down Dameshek -- our official NFL Media Uniform Monitor -- for his two cents on this development. Meanwhile, give us yours below.
