Pittsburgh Steelers release offensive tackle Jonathan Scott

Scott presumably became expendable after the Steelers re-signed veteran tackle Max Starks on Tuesday.

Scott, a fifth-round draft pick of the Detroit Lions in the 2006 NFL Draft, has appeared in 58 games over six seasons. He has played two seasons each with the Lions, Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers.
