Pete Carroll tweaks Jim Harbaugh at Town Hall

It's not exactly "What's Your Deal?" but Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll gave another fun quote regarding his rival Jim Harbaugh at his team's annual Town Hall on Wednesday.

Harbaugh is "a great coach and we love beating him," Carroll said, according to the Seattle Times.

Yes, the quote came after a long answer during which Carroll hemmed and hawed about each week being a "championship opportunity" and the dangers of making any game bigger than the next.

But Carroll knows that the 49ers matchup is special and those games mean more than the rest. That's why the Seahawksget excited when they have the chance to drop a 50-burger on San Francisco. That's why Carroll has some fun with a crowd-pleasing line about Harbaugh at a team event. He's not making that crack about Jeff Fisher or Sean Payton.

The Seahawks also talked about turning their backfield into a running back committee, moving Doug Baldwin out of the slot, and trying to get linebacker Bruce Irvin more snaps in 2014. None of those nuggets will make news in the Bay Area.

Rivalries are supposed to be fun, and Carroll isn't afraid to have a little fun with the best rivalry in the NFL.
