Harrison: Week 8 Power Rankings
After a strange week in the NFL, Elliot Harrison has plenty of changes in his league pecking order, including a new No. 1. READ
"Percy got started today. Limited involvement in practice today, but he got to run around, looked good," Carroll told reporters. "He looks quick and ready to take the next step, which is the next time we come back on Thursday. We're going to do it one day at a time."
Carroll said Harvin's workload will increase as the week continues. The coach was asked what Harvin will have to do to prove he's ready for game action.
"He's gotta to get through normal days of practice and we see how he handles it," Carroll said. "The thought we've been going off all along is to take the conservative approach and make sure guys are healthy so we're going to continue to do that."
Harvin followed Carroll on the podium and said he's "feeling great" and hasn't had any setbacks. Like Carroll, he called the process day to day.
A healthy Harvin can change that in a hurry.
