Patriots' Danny Amendola, Saints' Jimmy Graham hurt

Sunday's game between the New England Patriots and New Orleans Saints featured enough high profile injuries to fill up an entire injury roundup for Week 6.

Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola left with a head injury and did not return after taking a nasty hit in the fourth quarter. He appeared to lose consciousness.

New England's No. 1 cornerback, Aqib Talib, who shut down Jimmy Graham much of the day, injured his hip flexor, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Sunday night. A source who spoke to Talib told Rapoport that the injury doesn't seem to be serious, but there likely will be more clarity Monday.

Center Dan Connolly also got knocked out with a head injury, and linebacker Jerod Mayo hurt his shoulder in the fourth quarter.

Graham, meanwhile, also left with an ankle injury. He was able to return after getting the ankle taped, but he looked hobbled. Graham eventually had to be helped to the locker room late in the fourth quarter. Running back Darren Sproles was shaken up briefly, but it didn't look serious. New Orleans' best defensive player, Cameron Jordan, also missed time in the game.

Here are the rest of the injuries from Week 6:

  1. Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaubleft in the third quarter with an ankle injury. He'll undergo tests Monday.
  1. Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Cecil Shorts left with a shoulder injury. He reportedly left the stadium with his arm in a sling.
  1. Green Bay Packers wide receivers Randall Cobb and James Jones both left with knee injuries. NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reports that both injuries are not believed to be too serious.
  1. Arizona Cardinals defensive lineman Calais Campbell was carted off the field with an apparent neck injury. Campbell was taken to a Bay Area hospital where he underwent a precautionary MRI and CT scan, according to the team. Initial results were positive.
  1. Buffalo Bills starting quarterback Thad Lewis stayed in the game during the team's overtime loss to the Bengals, but he left the stadium wearing a boot. The team says he has a foot sprain. Matt Flynn is in Buffalo for a workout Monday. (It sounds like the workout was scheduled before Lewis' injury.)
  1. The Minnesota Vikings lost safety Harrison Smith (foot) and linebacker Desmond Bishop (knee) to injuries. Both looked possibly serious.
  1. Pittsburgh Steelers left tackle Levi Brown hurt his triceps during pregame warmups and didn't play against the Jets.
  1. Kansas City Chiefs tackle Branden Albert will get an MRI on his knee and elbow, according to coach Andy Reid.
  1. Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports that running back Mike Goodson will get an MRI on his knee Monday. The injury reportedly doesn't look good.
  1. Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray left Sunday night's loss to the Washington Redskins with a knee injury, and defensive end DeMarcus Ware left with a right quadricep injury. Cowboys coach Jason Garrett announced after the game that Murray has an MCL sprain and Ware suffered a quad strain.
