Patriots' Amendola, Cardinals' Fitzgerald fined for illegal blocks

Danny Amendola is going into the AFC Championship Game a few dollars short.

The Patriots wide receiver was fined $23,152 for a blindside block last week, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported, according to a league spokesman. He will appeal the fine.

Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald was also fined $23,152 for an illegal crackback block against the Packers.

In other fine news, Chiefs linebacker Dezman Moses was fined $17,363 for roughing the passer for a hit on Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.
