According to televangelist Pat Robertson, the Broncos have ruffled the feathers of the football gods.
Robertson fired a shot at the Broncos for treating Tebow "shabbily," saying the quarterback deserved more after rescuing the "nothing team" in 2011.
Before John Elway and friends cancel the season, they might want to examine Robertson's track record predicting the events of tomorrow, which has been, well, scattered at best.
There's the time Robertson told a waiting nation that George W. Bush would dominate John Kerry in the 2004 presidential election. Bush won with 51 percent of the vote. TOTAL LANDSLIDE.
In 2006, Robertson promised that devastating hurricanes would ravage American shorelines. Not a cloud in the sky.
One year later, Robertson said millions of Americans would perish through a terrorist attack in 2007, telling us: "The Lord didn't say nuclear. But I do believe it will be something like that."
Or, nothing like that at all.
