Oakland Raiders GM: Lot of 'action' regarding No. 3 pick

On the day before the 2013 NFL Draft, we still don't know much. We do know that there are a lot more teams looking to trade down, rather than trade up. But Oakland Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie believes he will have options.

McKenzie said Wednesday, via the Oakland Tribune, that there has been plenty of "action" regarding the No. 3 overall pick. McKenzie says he hasn't been the one calling other teams. The Raiders would surely love to add extra ammunition in this deep draft by moving down; they are missing a second-round pick.

McKenzie indicated that he has a good idea of what he'll do if they stay at No. 3. If they trade out of the pick, it could happen if Texas A&M's Luke Joeckel or Central Michigan's Eric Fisher get past Jacksonville at No. 2. One popular scenario I've heard: Oakland trading down to Arizona at No. 7.

If that happens, Oakland could very well still get Florida defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd, while grabbing another pick along the way.
