NFL Network to announce league's Week 10 award winners

The NFL will announce the AFC and NFC Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week during Wednesday's "NFL AM" on NFL Network. "NFL AM" airs at 6 a.m. ET and re-airs at 10 a.m. ET.

Teams submit their own nominees for weekly honors. Here are Week 10's nominees:

AFC Offensive Player of the Week

» Pittsburgh wide receiver ANTONIO BROWN, who had six receptions for 104 yards (17.3 average) in the Steelers' 23-10 win over Buffalo.
» Cincinnati wide receiver A.J. GREEN, who had 11 receptions for 120 yards with two touchdowns in the Dolphins' 22-19 loss at Tampa Bay.
» Houston wide receiver ANDRE JOHNSON, who had five receptions for 37 yards and two touchdowns in the Texans' 27-24 loss at Arizona.
» Miami wide receiver RISHARD MATTHEWS, who had seven catches for 121 yards (17.3 average) with three touchdowns in the Colts' 27-24 win at Houston.
» Denver wide receiver DEMARYIUS THOMAS, who had seven receptions for 108 yards (15.4 average) with three touchdown receptions in the Broncos' 28-20 win at San Diego.

AFC Defensive Player of the Week

» Pittsburgh cornerback WILLIAM GAY, who had 11 tackles and one pass defensed.
» Baltimore safety JAMES IHEDIGBO, who had nine tackles, three passes defensed and two interceptions in the Ravens' 20-17 over time over Cincinnati.
» Oakland cornerback TRACY PORTER, who had three tackles, one pass defensed and a 43-yard interception-return touchdown in the Raiders' 24-20 loss to the New York Giants.
» Jacksonville linebacker PAUL POSLUSZNY, who had eight tackles, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery in the Jaguars' 29-27 win at Tennessee.

AFC Special Teams Player of the Week

» Denver kick returner TRINDON HOLLIDAY, who had four kickoff returns for 103 yards (25.8 average).
» Oakland cornerback TAIWAN JONES, who forced a fumble on a kickoff return.
» Houston punter SHANE LECHLER, who punted seven times for 412 yards (58.9 average), including two inside the 20.
» Baltimore kicker JUSTIN TUCKER, who converted two field goals attempts, including a 46-yard game-winner.

NFC Offensive Player of the Week

» New Orleans quarterback DREW BREES, who completed 34 of 41 passes (82.9 percent) for 392 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions for a 139.0 passer rating in the Saints' 49-17 win over Dallas.
» New York Giants running back ANDRE BROWN, who rushed for 115 yards and a touchdown in the Giants' 24-20 win over Oakland.

NFC Defensive Player of the Week

» Arizona linebacker JOHN ABRAHAM, who had two sacks and a forced fumble in the Cardinals' 24-21 win over Houston.
» Tampa Bay linebacker LAVONTE DAVID, who had seven tackles and a safety.
» Carolina linebacker THOMAS DAVIS, who had five tackles and forced a fumble in the Panthers' 10-9 win at San Francisco.
» Carolina defensive end CHARLES JOHNSON, who had 1.5 sacks and five tackles.
» Carolina linebacker LUKE KUECHLY, who had 11 tackles, a sack and a pass defensed.
» New Orleans cornerback KEENAN LEWIS, who had one tackle and helped the defense limit Dallas to 104 net yards passing.
» Tampa Bay defensive tackle GERALD McCOY, who had five tackles and a sack.
» St. Louis defensive end ROBERT QUINN, who had two sacks, four tackles and a forced fumble in the Rams' 38-8 win at Indianapolis.
» New York Giants safety ANTREL ROLLE, who had 12 tackles and a sack.
» Philadelphia linebacker DEMECO RYANS, who had 13 tackles and an interception.
» Minnesota defensive tackle KEVIN WILLIAMS, who had 2.5 sacks and seven tackles in the Vikings' 34-27 win over Washington.

NFC Special Teams Player of the Week

» St. Louis punt returner-wide receiver TAVON AUSTIN, who returned a punt 98 yards for a touchdown and had receiving touchdowns of 81 and 57 yards.
» Arizona cornerback JUSTIN BETHEL, who blocked a field goal and had two special teams tackles.
» Seattle kicker STEVEN HAUSCHKA, who converted all four field-goal attempts, including a long of 53 yards, and three PATs.
» New York Giants rookie defensive end DAMONTRE MOORE, who blocked a punt that resulted in a touchdown.
