Minnesota Vikings break ground on new stadium

The Minnesota Vikings conducted a groundbreaking ceremony Tuesday for their new 65,000 seat stadium.

The Vikings don't plan on moving into their new digs until the 2016 season. They will spend the next two seasons playing home games at the University of Minnesota.

We could explain the process of how the Metrodome will be torn down and the new stadium will be erected, but this video from the Vikings is much cooler:
