Matt Moore takes first snap at Miami Dolphins camp

Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross told NFL Network's Jeff Darlington way back in May that Matt Moore was the quarterback most likely to start Week 1.

Instant Debate: Weeden vs. Tannehill

Which rookie quarterback will enjoy more success this season: Brandon Weeden or Ryan Tannehill? Our analysts debate. **More ...**

As training camp begins, that's still exactly how we feel. The Palm Beach Post notes that Moore took the first snap with the first team as Dolphins camp officially opened on Friday morning. David Garrard also got some work with the first team.

Many outside observers believe Garrard has the edge in this veteran battle, but we like Moore's chances. (Garrard, for one, has to show he can stay healthy.)
