Mangold limited in practice, listed as questionable vs. Ravens

Rex Ryan said Nick Mangold wouldn't be able to play against the Ravens if the game was on Friday. Luckily for the Jets and their coach, the All-Pro center will get two more days to heal.

Mangold was limited in practice on Friday with Ryan saying the center was a "legitimate gametime decision" for the Sunday night matchup in Baltimore. Mangold -- who is dealing with a high ankle sprain -- is officially listed is questionable.

"The fact that it is a Sunday night game may help the process," Ryan said. "We'll see how it is, he truly is questionable."

Ryan said Mangold wants to be out there and relishes the opportunity to play against All-Pro defensive end Haloti Ngata, whom Ryan called the best in the business.

"Your great competitors want to go against the best, and Nick, even though he's not 100 percent, I think he wants that opportunity," Ryan said. "But, you know, we'll make the best decision for the team."

In other injury news, Ryan said cornerback Antonio Cromartie (chest) and wide receiver Plaxico Burress (hamstring) practiced fully and are listed as probable. Rookie defense end Muhammad Wilkerson (shoulder) was limited in practice but is also listed as probable.
