Kenny Britt to visit Buffalo Bills; Lions to host DeCoud?

Agent Pat Dye told SiriusXM NFL on Thursday that Kenny Britt is drawing interest from the Buffalo Bills and Carolina Panthers. Now he's scheduled to visit one of those teams.

A source informed of Britt's plans has told NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport that the free-agent wide receiver will meet with the Bills shortly, perhaps on Friday.

For being one of the NFL's least effective wide receivers in 2013, Britt certainly has an inordinate number of suitors. He's already visited the Patriots, Rams and Redskins.

Attempting to rebuild his value in the same fashion as Hakeem Nicks and Jeremy Maclin, Britt likely will sign a short-term contract in his next locale, according to Dye.

If Britt does sign with Buffalo, he likely would push for the third receiver role behind Stevie Johnson and Robert Woods.

More of Friday's visits:

  1. Recently released Atlanta Falcons safety Thomas DeCoud is meeting with the Detroit Lions, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Seeking a replacement for Louis Delmas, the Lions are also hosting former Dolphins safety Chris Clemons, per CBS Sports. They had previously met with James Ihedigbo.
