Karlos Dansby interests Cardinals, Browns, Titans

Karlos Dansby's big comeback season in Arizona last season could lead to a big payday.

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Monday on NFL Network's "NFL Total Access" that the Cleveland Browns and Tennessee Titans are in the running for Dansby, in addition to the Cardinals.

The Arizona Republic reported that the Cardinals have offered a two-year contract worth between $10 million and $12 million. Though it's a substantial step up from the one-year, $2.25 million contract he settled for a season ago, Dansby is still expected to test the market starting Tuesday.

Dansby's patient approach could be well worth it. The Indianapolis Colts recently signed inside linebacker D'Qwell Jackson to a four-year, $22 million deal that includes $11 million guaranteed.

Dansby, 32, is coming off a season in which he proved himself to be a superior player to Jackson. Now comes the hard part: finding a team as generous as the Colts.
