Johnny Manziel's Texas A&M Pro Day draws 30 teams

Texas A&M's Pro Day wasn't just appointment viewing for fans.

Thirty NFL teams sent representatives to watch quarterback Johnny Manziel and wide receiver Mike Evans work out, including eight head coaches and eight general managers. The Cleveland Browns and Chicago Bears were the only two teams that didn't attend the event, NFL Media's Albert Breer reported.

The Browns, who own the No. 4 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, previously said they wouldn't attend the pro day, but will work out the dynamic quarterback privately at a later date.

The Houston Texans (No. 1 overall pick), Jacksonville Jaguars (No. 3), Oakland Raiders (No. 5) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (No. 7) privately will meet with Manziel on Thursday.

The quarterback will have dinner with Minnesota Vikings coach Mike Zimmer, offensive coordinator Norv Turner and general manager Rick Spielman on Thursday night and have meetings Friday morning, College Football 24/7 reported.

Essentially every team with a quarterback need at the top of the draft is meeting with Manziel at some point. The quarterback's performance Thursday was given resounding praise by the media.

We still have 42 days until the draft for critics to wrestle back the narrative.

The latest "Around The League Podcast" offers a full recap of the NFL Annual Meeting in Orlando, then proposes player moves that won't happen (but probably should).
