Jason Campbell to be Cleveland Browns' starting QB

Jason Campbell will start at quarterback Sunday for the Cleveland Brownsversus theNew England Patriots.

Campbell has been cleared after suffering a concussion in Week 12. Coach Rob Chudzinski told reporters Friday the veteran quarterback had two good days of practice. Campbell will be listed as probable on the injury report.

Campbell has a 1-3 record in starts for the Browns (4-8) this season, but definitely was going to be the starter this week if cleared.

Chudzinski said he'd name his backup quarterback Sunday. The duty will fall to either newly signed Caleb Hanie or Alex Tanney, who the team signed off the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad last week.

Brandon Weeden (concussion) has not been cleared to practice yet and will be inactive for the game, Chudzinski said.
