Jordan Rodgers' quest to find a home with the Jacksonville Jaguars has hit a speed bump.
The rookie quarterback is expected to be sidelined until training camp after undergoing sports hernia surgery, according toJaguars.com.

The younger brother of Green Bay Packers star Aaron Rodgers, Jordan Rodgers was signed by the Jaguars last month as an undrafted free agent. Rodgers chose the Jaguars over the Detroit Lions because he felt the Jags offer "one of the better opportunities you can ask for as a free-agent quarterback."
Rodgers is competing with fellow undrafted free agent Matt Scott for the No. 3 quarterback spot. Both dealt with injury issues at last week's rookie minicamp -- Rodgers nursing a groin issue while Scott was sidelined by a high-ankle sprain.
Only Rodgers had to go under the knife, however, a reality that serves as a substantial setback in his hopes of making the team. Scott probably was the favorite before. Now he's in the driver's seat.
