The backup did not practice all week after he was kicked in the knee. Seth Olsen won the job at left guard by beating out Reitz, who started 11 games last season, and Jeff Linkenbach, last season's starter at right tackle.

Reitz and starting inside linebacker Pat Angerer are the only Colts ruled out for the team's Week 1 matchup against the Chicago Bears.

Angerer hasn't played since the preseason opener against the St. Louis Rams after having surgery to repair a fractured right foot.
