Golden Tate on catch: 'The refs made the call, not me'

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Golden Tate secured himself a nice little place in NFL lore Monday night as the man who inadvertently set off the replacement official apocalypse.

As you might imagine, the controversial nature of Tate's Hail Mary touchdown catch brought him some added attention on Twitter. Not all of it pleasant.

The man certainly did compete. Of course, a more, um, seasoned group of officials would've flagged Tate for a game-ending offensive pass-interference call. That's not on Tate, though.
