The defensive end says he isn't deterred by those troubles in 2014, indicating that he is 100 percent "healthy and ready to go."
"I already feel like it," he said, per the New York Post. "My weight's good, I'm out there running and nothing's bothering me so I'm in pretty good shape.''
Coming off a down season, the 6-foot-5 pass rusher isn't worried about being without that veteran presence.
"I don't feel pressure at all,'' Pierre-Paul said. "I'm ready to get out there and do what I do best, sack the quarterback and stop the run. I'm ready to get out there and show everybody.''
