Ex-Green Bay Packer auctioning Super Bowl XLV ring

We have another Green Bay PackersSuper Bowl ring on the loose, although this one didn't turn up in a drug bust.

As pointed out by Packers guard Josh Sitton, a Super Bowl XLV ring is up for auction via Heritage Auctions. Buffalo Bills defensive lineman Jay Ross -- who was on the Packers' practice squad in 2010 -- has put the ring up for bid.

The ring weighs a solid quarter of a pound. It probably will take that weight in cash for some crazy Packers fan to buy this ring only one year removed from when Ross received it.
