Lowery was injured in the second half of the Jaguars' 41-3 loss to the Chicago Bears on Sunday.

Lowery started all five of the Jaguars' games so far this season and recorded 18 tackles and three passes defensed. Second-year pro Chris Prosinski will take over for Lowery, Mularkey said.

Coach Mike Mularkey says Lowery will miss the team's Oct. 21 game at Oakland and maybe the following week at Green Bay. The Jaguars are off this week.
