Dion Jordan: I don't plan on losing to Andrew Luck

Dion Jordan is new to the NFL but not to Andrew Luck.

Jordan, the No. 3 overall pick in April's draft, was part of an Oregon team that twice blew out Luck's Stanford squad before the quarterback was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts as the No. 1 overall pick in 2012. On Sunday, Jordan and Luck will meet again in Lucas Oil Stadium, and the Miami Dolphins' young defensive end says his win streak will continue.

"Yeah, me and Luck know each other pretty well," Jordan told reporters this week, per The Miami Herald. "I never lost to Andrew Luck. I don't plan on it."

It's the launching point for one of Week 2's more intriguing matchups: Indy's struggling offensive line against Miami's high-octane pass rush, led by Cameron Wake. Colts owner Jim Irsay tweeted Wednesday that he's tired of seeing Luck smacked around. "I DEMAND better," he wrote after his quarterback was sacked by the Oakland Raiders four times in Week 1.

Oakland's success was ominous, because we saw almost no pressure on the quarterback from the Raiders during the preseason. The Dolphins, meanwhile, hammered Brandon Weeden, victimizing the right side of Cleveland's line en route to six sacks and 16 hits on the Browns quarterback.

Jordan played just 18 snaps against the Browns, but he was responsible for one sack that left Weeden wishing he were somewhere else. Luck, of course, enjoyed his finest day as a rookie against Miami last season, shredding the 'Fins for 433 yards and two touchdowns. Something's gotta give.
