Dez Bryant active for Dallas Cowboys despite injury

There is serious concern that Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant will not suit up Sunday night against the Atlanta Falcons.

Bryant's status is a true game-time decision, NFL.com and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports. Bryant will test out his hip and is pushing hard to play, but according to Rapoport, the Cowboys are trying to be cautious.

We won't know Bryant's status until close to game time. Translation: Fantasy owners should make other plans.

Rapoport asked Bryant on Thursday about the hip. His response: "It hurts."

No. 3 receiver Kevin Ogletree also is at less than 100 percent for the Cowboys.

UPDATE: Rapoport reports the Cowboys expect Bryant to play despite not practicing all week, according to a team source. A short while later, Bryant was officially declared active.
