Denard Robinson to stay busy for Jacksonville Jaguars

Former Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson waited until the fifth round to hear his name called during the 2013 NFL Draft, but it's hard to imagine him landing in a better spot.

Tebow to Jags a bad idea

It's time to stop the chatter and let the new Jaguars regime rebuild the franchise, without Tim Tebow, Justin Hathaway writes. **More ...**

Most fifth-round picks sit. The Jacksonville Jaguarsneed Robinson. New general manager David Caldwell told Alex Marvez of FoxSports.com on Tuesday that the plan is to give Robinson 10 to 15 snaps per game as a return man and running back. Caldwell praised Robinson's burst at running back during his brief appearance at the team's rookie minicamp.

Robinson and fellow rookie Ace Sanders both figure to be involved in returns, and the Jaguars expect Robinson to have a role at tailback in a spot role. Maurice Jones-Drew will start, but after MJD, the position is pretty wide open with Justin Forsett next on the depth chart.

We didn't mention Robinson as one of the best rookie running backs in his class -- nor should we -- but he's going to be one of the most fascinating players to watch.
