DeMarco Murray (foot) won't play for Dallas Cowboys

Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray was on the practice field Friday, but did not participate, ESPN Dallas reported. The optimistic outlook has Murray back next week.

Murray has missed the last two games with a foot injury, and ESPN Dallas' Todd Archer reports that Murray will miss another. Felix Jones has stepped in, but is dealing with a knee injury himself.

The Cowboys need Murray back ASAP considering Big D's run game is ranked No. 28 in the NFL.

UPDATE: The Cowboys have indeed ruled out Murray for Sunday's game.
