Darrell Bevell, Ken Whisenhunt draw Titans' interest

The Tennessee Titansfired head coachMike Munchak on Saturday. They already have started work on finding their next coach.

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reports that the Titans reached out informally this week to Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell and San Diego Chargers offensive coordinator Ken Whisenhunt. Bevell is interested in the job. Whisenhunt is a hot interview candidate who might be the top choice for the Detroit Lions' job.

Two other names to watch out for: Dallas Cowboys special teams coach Rich Bisaccia and Vanderbilt coach James Franklin. Bisaccia also will interview with the Redskins, according to ESPN. Franklin "secretly" interviewed with the Houston Texans last week, Rapoport said.

The next coach of the Titans will have to shape a somewhat formless team seeking an identity.
