Daniel Thomas of Dolphins suffers head injury against Texans

HOUSTON -- Miami Dolphins running back Daniel Thomas has left Sunday's game against the Houston Texans with a head injury.

Thomas was injured on a play where he fumbled just before halftime. He remained on a the field for several minutes before walking off unassisted.

The Dolphins said he wouldn't return, but there were no further details on the extent of his injury. He had three carries for 11 yards and one reception for 32 yards before he was injured.
