Dallas Cowboys among NFL's most desperate teams

Every week in the NFL is important. Some are just more important than others. Here are the NFL teams most desperate for a win in Week 13.

The games are only getting bigger as we hit Week 13. We've nearly reached "must-win" territory for a lot of the squads listed below.

5. New York Jets, Buffalo Bills, San Diego Chargers: I'm grouping the 4-7 teams in the AFC together because they probably need to win out to make the playoffs, but I stubbornly believe one of them still could make a run if the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals stub their toes. It wouldn't be that surprising if an 8-8 squad made the AFC playoffs.

4. Seattle Seahawks: This could be their last game with starting cornerbacks Brandon Browner and Richard Sherman for a while. A road upset of the Chicago Bears would put the Seahawks in the driver's seat for the NFC's No. 6 playoff seed.

3. Green Bay Packers: There's no reason to believe the Minnesota Vikings could beat the Packers in Lambeau. But after the beatdown Green Bay just took, it'll have to get a victory this week to stay within shouting distance in the NFC North.

2. Dallas Cowboys: Just imagine the reaction if the Cowboys somehow lost Sunday night at home to the Philadelphia Eagles. There would be no coming back from that.

1. Washington Redskins: Robert Griffin III could push the Redskins' season revival to a different level with a win over the New York Giants on Monday night. They'd be right back in the NFC East and wild-card races with a win. A loss, dropping them to 5-7, would put the Redskins on the brink.
