On a day with a lot of juicy draft buzz, NFL Network's Albert Breer's item about the Patriots stood out.

The report: New England inquired with Seattle to see what it would cost to move up to the No. 12 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. Breer got the information from sources with "direct knowledge of the situation."

A short time later, NFL Network reporter Stacey Dales sent this missive over Twitter from Foxborough:
