Chicago Bears try out quarterbacks, sign Amobi Okoye

Jay Cutler's neck injury isn't expected to be a long-term problem for the Chicago Bears. But the team will make sure it's  are covered no matter what.

The Chicago Tribune reports that the Bears tried out quarterbacks Josh Johnson and Stephen McGee on Tuesday.

Such workouts are routine, but the quarterbacks coming in speak to Cutler's precarious injury situation.

The Bears also announced that they re-signed defensive tackle Amobi Okoye on Wednesday.

UPDATE: Cutler did his best to quiet concerns Wednesday, telling reporters during his news conference that he'll "be ready on Sunday."
