Calling Charles Woodson a fan favorite in Oakland is an understatement. He's a living legend in the Black Hole. He was welcomed back to the Raiders like a rock star, a link to a tradition that then wasn't so bleak.

Charles Woodson will wear whatever jersey number Charles Woodson wants.

Tracy Porter signed a one-year contract with the Raiders after a miserable season with the Denver Broncos. Yeah, this wasn't a fair fight. It's great news for all the Raiders fans who already own Woodson jerseys. It's terrible news for both of the fans who quickly bought Porter "24" apparel. Porter now will wear No. 31, per the San Francisco Chronicle.
